If you have a creative background in advertising, print, photography, web design and development, marketing or sales, JCS offers year-round, paid and unpaid internships. Applicants do not need to be enrolled in college to apply and there is no age restriction. We offer semester internships, as well as a summer session.
Our internships are currently recognized for course credit by OSU, CCAD, CSCC among others. Please check with your adviser to make sure you are eligible for credit and meet the academic deadlines.
Through our internship program, we aim to help you gain knowledge of all aspects of a design studio - taking what you are learning in your major and applying it inside a real world, working creative design studio. You’ll learn what it takes to turn your commitment in your chosen field into the responsibility and accountability you need to succeed.
Our internships are part-time, weekly commitments lasting one semester. Interns are required to work a minimum of 2 days totaling at least 10-20 hours each week. Please make sure that you have availability with your school and work schedules before applying.
Note: PAID interns will be selected based on their performance upon completion of a two-week UNPAID trial/initial internship. These two weeks require a total of 20 hours (10 hours per week) and those hours will count towards your course credit. You will essentially be competing with at least one other/several candidate(s) for the paid internship/position DURING your two week unpaid period.
